World Trade Distribution provides the most complete line of import cargo services on the Gulf Coast. We receive and unload over 5,000 containers per year of consolidated freight into our CFS station. Open tops, flat racks, break bulk shipments, and inbound project freight are all handled on a daily basis with accuracy and in a timely manner. For the past 30 years our Houston based Container Freight station has provided the Gulf Coast with Import cargo Services that are cost effective, reliable, and convenient. Our reputation for streamlining operations and import customer service is unparalleled. Our knowledgeable staff works hand in hand with U.S. Customs inspectors both on site (CES) and at the Port of Houston on a daily basis.

Consolidated import containers are unloaded and segregated into our bonded warehouse (CFS) with care and efficiency. With heavy lift capacity our customers have the flexibility to load any type of cargo for import with confidence. With all drivers Haz Mat (Hazardous Materials) endorsed we provide efficient delivery of any type of container without delay. As a bonded carrier and bonded warehouse we are able to transfer consolidated containers from the Houston port terminal to our warehouse by Permit to Transfer (PTT) for de – consolidation providing our customers with timely transfer / delivery and expedited availability of their import cargo.

Delivery of import cargo enhances our freight management program. Our in house trucking department provides bonded and non bonded delivery of inbound cargo throughout Texas and our IPI carriers provide bonded delivery to Gulf Coast destinations. Import Cargo is shipped daily so that there is no delay in transfer and delivery to the destination warehouse or consignee. Whether it is one pallet or a truck load we strip and ship daily.

These operations are complemented by our Houston CES (centralized examination station) that provides U.S. Customs examinations and promotes the utmost in information accuracy and security standards.
